In this role I aim to work actively with CILT International, the CILT India Council, the wider CILT community, and other partners to develop the influence and significance of CILT in India, particularly with respect to Education, Membership and the Next Generation Forum.

With a long career spanning Supply Chain Management, Sales and Operations Management, Project Management, and Supply Planning and Contract Management for sectors including Healthcare, Telecom, Infrastructure, and Heavy Engineering Projects, I have been fortunate to have had in-depth exposure to the Industry.

As India grows towards becoming a 5 trillion-dollar economy, so the Indian logistics industry grows too. This industry growth is creating a greater demand for skilled manpower. I see CILT acting as a key player, linking government with logistics professionals and academics, and helping to supply the skilled manpower the country needs.

I will establish new business strategies to increase Academic Partners and Membership, and also to promote CILT as the first choice for logistics and supply chain professionals.
